Right lads, Lets just say hypothetically, a website comes up with a solution of televising EVERY SPL and SPFL game online that's not televised by sky or BBC. Particularly missing out the Celtic and Sevco games and picking up the slack and showing every other team. I personally see this as a way of generating a bit of cash for cash strapped clubs and to build a reputation for Scottish football on a global scale. Its not just that, there would be plenty interest in the streams from betting sites and the like. It also means Scottish football would get a lot more exposure to the outside world in regards to spotting talent. What downfalls would there be? Bear with me now, I know there will be a massive amount of downfalls, Its just a hypothetical idea. Any views, however big or small, stupit or daft. Would be appreciated.
We have a lot of deadwood within our ranks. The list of players I would sell are Samaras as he is far to inconsistent, Murphy just doesn't perform good enough, Maloney far to injury prone and probably one of the highest earners not getting value for money, Loovens = Oliver Tebily = bombscare, Cha Du-Ri good player but have enough right backs and have two that are better, sell now get good price and free up wages for a different position, McGinn and Juarez if they fail to impress while on loan, Rasmussen and Hooiveld never really got a chance but are sitting there getting paid money that we could used to get a goalkeeper, center back or big center forward. All in all you would probably raise about 6 million in fees would be a big loss from what we paid but from what I can see the value are only going to get lower unless massive improvements are made and raise about 80k a week for wages going by my own estimates which are probably well off the real valuations. You might say that would leave the squad short in some places but I think its about time a few young players are getting a chance. Anyone agree or disagree?
