New powers for Scotland

18 posts in this topic

In light of the referendum we have been promised more powers and talks have now started, I think any politicians that are Scottish MPs and sign anything other than a DevoMax bill should be hounded out of the country, I would also like to see Scotland keeping at least 70% of the oil revenue from the North Sea but that is a pipeline dream, what do you think?

Oil ?

You know heard yet about the big pipe stretching from the Shetlands all the way down to Dover?

A big industrial underwater chainsaw is needed I think.

I think the Smith commission is a farce. It is my understanding that the SSP have been excluded from making submissions?

The best way to ensure more powers for Scotland is to give Labour a kicking in 2015 and send more SNP or pro-independence MP's to Westminster.

There's going to be a major shakeup in Politics next year come the Elections I think.

Labour have committed Political Suicide in Scotland and the Lib Dems have fucked them selves in England by towing the Tory Line.

Chuck in Combat 18's Political Wing and we have a recipe for disaster.

I might just Vote Greens this Year as they are as close to a Socialist Vote as you are going to get I think.

Labour are not getting my vote until they sort their shite out from now on.

Jim Murphy - "As a family of Irish Catholic immigrants we are not Unionists."I grew up in a family of trade unionists but not political Unionists.

Yes............I definitely smell shite.

No-one's going to fall for that patter Smurphy, don't try to hide behind your family or your religion, it has nothing to do with either. You made your bed, now lie in it.

You're King Unionist and your party is about to be annihilated.

Labour have totally fucked themselves over the Referendum.

I won't be giving them my support for the foreseeable future now looking at the Greens as an alternative for they have at least some Socialist leanings.

Something has to give in the UK we need an alternative to the Status Quo other than the far right Politics Ukip have on offer.

Perhaps going Green would give them all the kick in the haw maws they all evidently need at this time?

Worth a look...

Labour's insistence that they will under no circumstances do a deal with the party that is clearly now representative of the vast majority of Scottish voters is nothing short of a blatant insult to Scotland and the voters of Scotland, and yet another clear sign, along with every other insult thrown at the SNP from every other English nationalist party, that any party truly representing Scotland should and will never be allowed a say in the governing of Scotland as long as it remains confined to the Union, that Scotland as part of the Union is, will and can only be a Scotland castrated and devoid of representation.

May the Union perish.

In case no other person here saw it, I will post Duncan Hothersall's (Labourite) tweet about Scotland.  -

"Of course I accept and embrace the fact that Scotland is a nation.  It's just irrelevant to a UK election"

Democracy is fine for the Westminster masses if Scotland sends Labour MP's to the House Of Commons but it all gets a bit messy when we flex our democratic will and potentially send a large block of SNP candidates in their place.
